Hey Guys,

I love this site and forum. It has been very helpful to me. I recently bought a 2012 sport sls and absolutely love it. As many of you probably know it is no longer available with navigation and rear view camera. I would like to add it myself. The catch is I love all the steering wheel controls, especially the bluetooth for the phone. Do you guys know of a system that I can install and keep all my beloved controls? Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find anything about keeping the steering wheel controls while installing aftermarket gear.

Thanks so much!

Joe

It think it is a new question. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you.

That might mean not for the standard (non-nav) head unit. Somewhere on these forums is a thread that discussed wiring the wheel controls to an aftermarket unit but I can't find it right now.

I did not know the Nav/cam unit is no longer an option - you sure? Dealer tell you that?

Your first link might be worth a try. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to call them. As far as the Nav/cam not being available I was told buy a couple of different dealerships as I shopped around. I think others in this forum have said that as well.

In searching in forums for different cars it seems some have had success with this product in keeping both audio and bluetooth controls.

Has anyone ever heard of this or had experience with it?

Thanks again!
