I almost cried

Came out of a wal-mart to find a small dent and scratch on the passenger door. Serves me right for parking close to the store. Doesn't look too deep. What are my options?

Yeah, I figured I could take some sort of compound and buff it out. Not sure what I'm going to do about the dent though.

Doesn't look deep.
Get a good polish and that should take care of it. If buying at a store, the turtle wax
premium polish and rubbing compounds are the ones to get (squeezable green and black bottle) DO NOT get the regular compound.
Use a terry pad, and start with the mildest product first always (polishing, black bottle) Needless to say, area has to be washed before polishing
Good luck

At the Arizona Wal-mart's, there are usually ample empty spots nearer the tire and lube or the garden entrance, the one I frequent most, has a great spot that gets me in the store quickly with no neighbors.
One look at "the people of Wal-mart" says a lot about the knuckleheads that park near you.

Do you have people who do paintless dent removal in the USA? Providing they can access the inside of the panel (and there's no bitumen sound proofing on the back) they'd be able to get it almost like new.
In Australia it's a fairly cheap exercise- I had a couple of small dents done and it was around $100.
