Window Tinting

I have a Silver GTS also, can't wait to see the pics.

Getting my Silver GTS done later this month. In Missouri the front can be done with 35% to be legal. Rear and back can be any percentange and the tint guy suggested 20% in rear to blend with the 35%. A shop in Kansas comes highly recommended and they first quoted me $200, then dropped to $180 since I'm having a clear film bra put on by a different company that recommended me to the tint shop.
When it gets done I can post pics.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. Mine is also silver and the shop I am using says go 35/20 as well. I've seen that combo on a couple of black cars, and it looks great. Really want to see it on silver before going forward though.

For what it's worth, here is a silver with tinted windows... looks pretty sweet IMO. I too am looking forward to seeing some owner pics though.

Did that for about the same price a few weeks ago. My silver K with the black interior was getting pretty hot inside in the sun. By installing "legal" film (only blocks about 35% of visible light) it blocks even more of the heat and also UVA and UVB. Car is much cooler in the sun now.

The attached picture of the whole car makes the windows look very dark. Might want to try again later when it should be cloudy and the glare is not a problem.

The other picture shows that from the inside, there is not a lot of outside visible light lost. The tint is the "legal" 35% of visible light blocking in both front, back and rear. Really cooled down the car with its black interior.
