Good price for 2013 GTS?

I've been looking for another Kizashi since mine was totaled last month and in my area they have been selling fast since the news of bankruptcy (go figure). Long story short, I was only looking to replace my 2011 SLS with a 2012 SLS but it's been hard to find one fully loaded so I ended up stopping at a Suzuki dealership just to look at the 2013 models (they had no sls) and they gave me a price of 21800 otd for the 2013 gts leather edition in the color that I want... What do you guys think? I'm concerned because it doesn't have everything my sls did, depreciation value since the bankruptcy news and it going to drop at a significantly higher rate... Do you guys think I should take the deal and run or wait to see if they drop more? Any help is appreciated at this point guys.

I'm pretty sure I paid a little under $21,500 for my 2010 GTS (no leather) while the 2011s were on the lot 2 years ago. I say buy that up at that price if it's AWD.

Thanks for replying, I have to make a decision by tomorrow. It doesn't have AWD - do you think it's still a good price then?

I haven't really kept up with the other models besides the SLS because that's what I wanted but the used SLS' that I have came across were between $18,000-$20,500 range (2012 models with miles on them ranging from 6k-18k) and I just can't and won't do that when none of them that I have seen have navigation. There is a new SLS w/ nav that I am looking at but it's around $24,000+ but it's a 2012. I'm trying to weigh my options between the 2013 GTS and lose features (compared to an SLS) or continue searching for a new/used SLS with nav.

Sorry, I haven't really been following prices on newer models especially the FWD cars. I do know features and models have changed since I purchased mine. You really want to get as much off as possible since the future ownership issues really is still unknown. The dealer I bought mine from sent me an email last night w/ $6,000 off MSRP on their entire stock of Suzukis except the pick-ups (-$2,000) and stating they were still going to honor warranty, parts and service. So see how that number stacks up to the price of the car you're interested in.

Thanks again! I'm having a hard time deciding what to do, I have a dealership willing to match the price but it's for a 2012 SLS w/o nav and I'm still just not sold on the price. My heart is set on a 2013 SLS but I have no need for AWD and just see that as an extra cost, which only pushes the car into a price range that I am not willing go to (unfortunately). Do you mind sharing your dealership name? If I have to travel for the car I want, I'm willing to do so.

Not really surprised that Kizashis could be selling out because of news of the bankruptcy. If the news drives ten more people per day per dealership with two willing to buy at a fire-sale lower price, the stock could be sold out quickly.

A guy on the SX4 forum was about 4 hours from a dealer in Arizona and flew there to get the SX4 he wanted. So it's not unheard of to fly and buy.

I have the FWD SLS and I think it is a great car. Many people buy AWD for the snow, but I've used four good snow tires on both FWD and RWD cars and that's worked out just fine. Good snows. An AWD adds a bit of extra weight and drag, so the FWD is a bit spunkier.

Snow's not the only weather the AWD shines in.....awesome in the rain. Along with the traction control and ESP it's as if the roads were dry.
