Mileage

I know there have been a bunch of posts on mileage on the site. These data are from 53 fill-ups. I missed about 10 fill-ups over the past 15,000 miles.
I have a 2012 Kizashi SLS (AWD) that I purchased in February of 2012. Right now the odometer is about at 15,600. To date:
Average CALCULATED MPG is 26.25 (Range 22-34.9)
Average COMPUTER Display (per tank, reset after each tank fill) is 27.9 (Range 23.7-35.5)
Average Speed 37.5 (per tank)
Average Miles before getting gas: 254 (Range 125-382)
Some observations: About 75% of the time, the AWD was set to 2WD. I have noticed that 2WD seems to improve the mileage, but admittedly, I have not done any systematic comparison. Driving is about 40% “city” and 60% hwy. By city, I mean small city – not bumper to bumper NYC traffic. I also found that 60 MPH is right about where the sweet spot is for getting the best MPGs. OEM Dunlop tires (I cannot wait to change). Gas is all 87 regular, no one particular brand.

Average only tells part of the story - what is the standard deviation of your data?
