Yesterday while washing my car I noticed that my LR wheel center cap didn't look right so I touched it and it fell out of it's center spot. When I picked it up I noticed that 2 of the 4 tabs that hold it in place were broken. Now how did that happen!!!! Does anyone know the part number for the center cap seeing I need to order another one.

One of mines too. Two tabs broke just like yours. Cheapy thin plastic.
Going to the dealer for another set ab
and reinforce the tabs with epoxy before putting them on.

Funny but I also reinforced mines until another one comes. I took a wire coat hanger and gorilla glue. I cut the hanger to length and looped it near the tab then garilla glued them behind the broken taps and also glued the taps back in place. It's been a week now and so far so good. I just found them for $15 each from southwest suzuki.

I used some Shoe Goo I had lying around the house. Put a marble sized dab behind each tab. I'm hoping it's firm enough to keep tension up against the broken tabs and be able to resist vibration.

So much for that. Drove to work this morning and found the caps had come off! Ordering a set and reinforcing them before installing.

southwest suzuki....$15.02 plus shipping. Cheap compared to some mfg's.By the way my cap is still staying in place. I fortified mines with coat hanger parts an I think the gorilla glue was the thing that keap it all strong and together. I even took a 200 mile trip and it didn't come off.

I tapped on the rest of my caps with my finger and they didn't sound snug. Two of the three remaining had a broken tab. I don't blame the tire tech who had to remove and reinstall them when he balanced my tires but it would've been nice if he told me they didn't go on right.
Bad design having only two of the four tabs of the center cap actually gripping the rim. The broken tab is sure enough to be one of them. I got two new ones and reinforced them along with my existing ones before putting them back on. I used a soldering iron and melted grooves inside the center caps and took the wire rings from some other center caps i had, compressed them, and put them inside. They fit nice and snug in the grooves so I didn't need to use glue to hold them in place.
I would recommend doing similar for any kiz owner reading this. Flimsy tabs in the center caps.
