Replaced an MY04 Liberty/Legacy 2.5 black wagon (my 3rd subie), with a Aug 2010 black Sport, which had 95k k's on the clock.
Researched this site b4 I did the deal.
Was interested in the model when launched and liked the torque transfer awd concept when it came out. Suspect I have a very early model of that.
Obviously done a bit of country work, but in quite good condition. even smelled like new car, though may have been a dealer spray in.
I would never buy a black car from new again, but have now done it twice in a row secondhand, as that was best available.
Front end has been blacked out. Matt black below and gloss black on top grill and badge. Probably hand done, probably because of stone chips. Not too bad looking.
Front is literally covered in tiny stone chips.
Have done about 3k in a month.
It gets driven, if you catch my drift.
Getting (shown) 9.5 ltr/100k, but did 8.6-9 on highway mode.
This is better than the liberty and I should get high 5's from the 64ltr tank before fillup.
Handles pretty well and goes 18kph faster than the subbie too.
Does pull to the left on highway, so will get it back to dealer b4 warranty expires.
6 speed cvt is far superior than the poxy 4spd i had. Too much city work to go back to a manual.
I really appreciate the feature set and can finally play music and talk via bluetooth and my samsung. Would recognise it any other way ipod or usb.
USB menu is a bit fiddly.
All good so far, reasonably happy, though must get it on a hoist soon (mates a mechanic from home) and have a real good look.

I've done about 5k on it so far and yes, the dashboard reflection into the windscreen is the worst I've ever experienced, without polaroid sunglasses, I can't even see into my garage as I drive in, a complete pain in the rear. The down vision is pox. Can't see nuthin, hav'ta tilt the mirrors way down to see anything parking. Plus the instrument vision is pox too, like me seat low, but cannot see any indicator leds at that angle. Or the freekin speeedo at 100 k's. Have to jack it back up (wheel height, guess i'll have to get used to that). Plus me freekin auto wipers don't work and it's obviously still pulling to the left. Plus whenever i get onto the major ruts on the asphalt left be heavy trucks in melted tarmac, at lights usually, the freekin steering wheel want's to pull itself out's me hands and climb up the freekin ramp.
Otherwise I'm happy as a pig in sheet. Goes harder than me subbie with about same , well nearly) fuel consumption n goes round cnrs like on rails, like I was hopin.
Rear view is pox too, nearly as bad a reflection as the front an I broke me (maiko) polarised sunnies (can't see me s3 with thenm on, polarized). Other sunnies are useless on this reflection an it's the worst I've ever expereinced.

I've noticed the reflection from the dash before but only after using armorall on it. never noticed it on the back before. I'd try a non-silicon based cleaner on it and see if it makes a difference.
