So about a month ago I had a dream that my Kizashi was a convertible and since then I have been obsessed with that idea! I jumped for joy a bit when I came across these pics on a blog. The pics are based on an Eos but it definitely works for the Kizzy! I kinda wish I could un-see these pics though because when I see a Chrysler 200 convi I look at it as if it were a Kizashi. Now when I see an Eos it's going to be double the torture!

lol it def looks really cool. But I wouldn't do it even it is free though. Having a convertible means the roof will eat into already pitily small trunk space. Not to mention all the mechanical components will add to weight of the car that's already way to heavy for this kind of horsepower.

Also, convertibles have less chassis rigidity than coupes or sedans as the roof structure acts as a brace. To counter this, many convertible sports cars have extra bracing and reinforcements, but it adds to the weight of the car. Oddly, less up top means more weight all around.
For example, the convertible Lamborghini Aventador weighs over a 100lbs more than the coupe version for this reason.
The Kizashi convertible is definitely interesting. I agree that it looks somewhat like a VW Eos and Chrysler 200 Convertible.

All that aside, it looks pretty hot as a convertible.

Ive always thought the Kizashi was originally intended to be a 2 dor and then they added the rear doors as an afterthought. When you turn the ignition off you can still roll the front windows up or down but not the back.
