Kizashi changes over the years...

I know that figuring out all of Suzuki's models, trims and options is pretty futile. Like, when did they go to 18 inch wheels on the SE? However, have there been many technical changes since it's introduction in 2010? What I mean is, has there been modifications made to correct any deficiencies in the car? Updates to suspension, engine, etc. So is there a technical reason why you would stay away from a particular model year or trim package?
I'm going to be looking at a 2011 SLS tomorrow and will likely buy it. Wish I could find a GTS or SLS with a 6-speed AND power seats.
Thanks.

For a 6 speed manual and power seats, you need to get a 2010 or 2011 GTS or SLS. Not certain about the 2010 SLS with a manual though.
Overall, the issues I know of with the car are these:
2010 models had paint chipping issues, especially for the nose. It was apparently rectified in 2011 and up models. Regardless, I put a hood deflector on my 2011 because of this issue.
There was a recall for the belt tensioner in the car. Not sure if it affected only certain model years.
There was a recall for the glove box because it could open in the case of an accident. Not sure if it affected certain model years.
There may be a recall that extends to the Kizashi for the passenger seat airbag sensor. Not sure yet. It currently affects the Grand Vitara and the SX4.

Thanks, Kuro. I heard about the glove box recall, but not the belt tensioner. No biggie. Something like that is cheap and I could do it myself if needed. Covered by the power train warranty anyway. I have an SX4, (hopefully for only another day or so) and it had the passenger set warranty extended.
