I am on the verge of buying a 2012 Kizashi Sport. However, there are still questions about Warranty Coverage. There are/were 6 in BC Canada. Some have already transitioned to Mitsubishi, and they still do Warranty work on Suzuki's however, it doesn't mean they may change their minds and get out of Suzuki altogether.
Has anyone gotten written Warranty commitment after 2014.

Have a read through here: http://www.suzukiauto.com/
I don't know the laws in the USA, but I know in Australia it is law that any manufacturer must support their vehicles for 10 years - even if they pull out of the country. That has happened with SEAT and Daewoo- and soon Opel will be leaving. VW took over SEAT and GM Holden took over Daewoo for warranty and parts.
I'm sure the USA and Canada would have similar (if not better) consumer laws in place.

Since this 2012 appears to be a used car, you are first of all talking about transferability of the original vehicle warranties. I would check the document itself. In the U.S. the warranties were transferable with the car. Then I would worry about where to get the car serviced, but here in the U.S. there has been no problem. Suzuki got commitments from a number of dealerships to provide warranty service for the full ten years and they even advertised it. Not sure why any prior Suzuki dealer would want to turn away warranty work unless they no longer have qualified personnel. They can always get parts.

We're about to purchase a used 2011 from someone and I was wondering about the warranty as well as the car is under 36k. How would we find out what the remaining factory warranty is?
Contact any Suzuki Service Center and give them the VIN. They can tell what you need to know if they're worth anything.

Finalizing the car Purchase. Warranty starts July 2013. So I only loose 5 months.
