Install Aftermark Oil Cooler For CVT With Fan
That's a pretty slick unit. Honestly, depending upon where it gets mounted, the unit itself (rather large in appearance) w/o the fan is likely more than you'd need if it were put in to the path of air flow. Love to see some pics of the install if/when you get around to it. One thing to consider, the trans's pump may become taxed (not large enough) pushing that much extra fluid around, doing more harm than good.

After monitoring the transmission temp several times I saw that it was very close to 90c degrees in normal use I live in a warm country before looking for that compare the dimensions with the RRM and they are exactly the same the only difference is the fan

I think CVT temperature is not representing how good cooler radiator works you should use IR or thermal image temperature sensor to measure radiator temperature too. and plot a graph and check how this 2 temperature correlate to each other.

Engines in these cars will far outlast the CVTs...it's really a shame.

120k maintenance. It was prety fun to finally spend some time under the Kizashi as it has been so reliable I've hardly had to work on it except for normal servicing!
Engine oil+filter - easy peazy. I do extended 15k intervals with full synthetic. I've run some tests with Blackstone Labs to make sure I wasn't too crazy!
Engine air filter - easy, afordable aftermarket filters starting to get scarce though
Cabin air filter - easy but even more scarce
Transfer Case oil - easy again, pretty clean...very little on magnet
Spark plugs - Was surprised to see how worn the plugs were...60k miles as per the recomendation and central electrode was quite worn, gap on all were between .08-.09. Also noticed oil leaking into plug tube from valve cover so I replaced valve cover gasket.
Valve cover gasket - easy too but may have caused another problem as one of the 16 valve cover bolts was partially siezed. By time I got it out it was so stressed already it sheered its threads off in the head as I was reinstalling it with hardley any tourque at all! Only 15 bolts holding it on now. The missing one is in the dead center, hopefully the rest will do the job! On a side note, I was impressed to see how clean the inside of the cover was! No sludge at all like I saw in this Kizashi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiB4SHIKwbI
PVC valve - seemed like a good time to do it, especially while valve cover was already off
Brake fluid - Didn't realize how dirty the brake fluid was until I flushed it!
Brake pad check - I'm amazed how well the front pads are holding up, especially considering how long ago the rears wore out. I may never have to replace the pads on the front!
Rotated tires - good even wear, Continentals holding up great! Will need new ones by next fall.
Suspension parts check - No noticable wear in suspension parts EXCEPT looks like driver strut leaking! And as we've discused on this forum, not much out there for struts!

Comming next...Struts and CVT flush
'12 Kizashi SLS AWD w/RF sound
easy to chip Vivid Red and 25% window tint
Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus II
Power Stop Rotors and Pads
183,xxx miles and still lovin it!
