Has anyone tried this in the Kizashi? Looks like a blast!

I'm very tempted since the new snow tires I got are the tire of choice when running non-studded tires. And their definition of studded tires is full out custom full of sharpened bolts.
I think this would be a relatively safe way to learn how to drive the car to the limits in bad weather and learn how to get out of sticky situations since I don't have any real experience with this type of driving. Thoughts?

IMactualE racing means vehicle damage.
It's just an accepted reality

That's a modded car on crazy studded ice tires that these guys run. But the same course has a lot of normal people in regular cars just driving hard. I wouldn't be driving hard, just enough to understand the slide.
I've autocrossed before, so this is basically the same thing on ice. It's really important to know your limits in terms of safety or you can still damage your car. And that's the last thing I want to do. But I'd rather hit a snow bank out here than a car on the highway, right?

I don't think that would help at these events.
They've got an event both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. But I don't think I'll have time to attend either. I still need to get a bunch of stuff on the car in spec.

GAP helps when racing on public roads through traffic.
I mean, if I over-error.......

I don't see the Kizashi as a real racing machine. It's just a ressonably luxurious sporty car. Great daily driver.
