plasti-dipped mirror caps

As the title implies, I tried my hand at this today. Results were awful as the dip ended up with an orange peel like texture and not the smooth matte I wanted. The best news is that it was easy as cake to peel off. I'm going to try again next week. One other thing to mention, the gray looks freak in Sweeeet with the black caps setting it off!

Yes, plastic dip isn't as easy to use as Youtube would have you believe. :)

any pics? I'm waiting for a warmer day to plastidip my aftermarket rims on which I have snow tires mounted.
