Given the American population's love of novelty items, no surprise. Might as well buy an over-priced top-selling Heep Wrangler...same results.

Mass production...of junk. Gotta keep the shareholders happy and making target dates aye? On to the CUV!

Owner's clubs such as this one, Kizashi Club, we're on usually tell some stories. One of the first places I seek out for info before making purchases.

So, I searched...2 seconds and found this:

Someone could easily come to this same forum and find similar topics. Doesn't really mean anything. Heck, my car loses 3-4 of the 6 screws on the bottom side of the bumper every year, let alone how many plastic fasteners like those I've been missing over the years.

Correct, however I usually look through multiple sites, reviews and other seemingly non-biased info, along with price, etc. before formulating a purchasing opinion. Merely citing one quick search of what owners are experiencing was all. Attention to detail issues such as that, on a seemingly hi-tech vehicle, begs the question "what other more critical, not-so-obvious, expensive 'things' were, oops, overlooked?"

None of our 3 modern, brand new, +/- $20k-ish zuks were ever missing anything. Neither were any of the 2 vintage zuks we'd purchased new. It's only after the 'professional' monkeys have at the cars, do things like fasteners go missing. Or get broken, or installed improperly, or.....

All of my fasteners are still in place on the 2 we still own, so, there's that.

A brand-new $30k plus car shouldn't have such shoddy build quality, missing parts, whatever, (in this day-n-age) like an over-priced Heep as I'd eluded to earlier.

Sunday during my driveabout I eyeballed two silvers and one red Kizashi; that's a lot of Kizashis.

disproportionally high for sure....I've only ever seen 2, in the same day, once, many years ago.

I followed one that looked just like mine yesterday. We 'convoyed' for about ten miles.
