Spotted two today within 30 minutes of each other. I was with my brother, his kids, and his dog when he pulled into a random parking space with a Kizashi next to it. It was in excellent condition and actually still had the original tires. I waited around my brother's car with the dog as they went to a store. The owner actually came out to his car so I complimented his car and told him I have one too. He was a bit surprised but seemed much more interested in the dog than talking about the Kizashi. Given his looks and the fact that he came out of a Japanese market, he could have been Japanese but I didn't want to assume and start talking to him in Japanese, especially since I don't really look the part.
Once back on the road, I saw another Kizashi but this one was white. Again, a Kizashi Sport AWD in excellent condition.
Maybe they are more common than I thought in Orange County.
The Kizashi Spotting Thread!
They are both lovely, good spots!KuroNekko wrote:Spotted two today within 30 minutes of each other. Ironic though how it's parked next to a Kia in the top picture given this thread is called "Kia-shi"

New posts going forward should have the correct title. As far as SEO goes... We rank well for the correct spelling of Kizashi on just about everything else. If I happen to remember the next time I'm in the database I may fix all of the other instances.SamirD wrote:Agh!! One of the longest threads on the site and the name Kizashi is spelled wrong. Horrible for seo too. I can't edit it, but hopefully Moto can get in here and fix that.
As far as stickers and a store... I may do an affiliate link store sometime in the future. I may also sell some physical products, but it will be hard to justify the time required to do it. I've got a lot of other projects that have to come before this one.
I have thought about doing stickers since 2009 when I started the site. You have covered the reasons I did not do it. I don't think interest would be high enough to cover the cost much less the time required to put together a bulk order.
I believe Metatrox did some vinyl stuff early on, but I don't think he ever sold much. I ended up issuing a refund or two on his behalf when he went MIA. He helped a lot on the site when it was new so it wasn't a big deal, but I think I removed the links to his products after that happened.
Haha, yeah. That KIA is actually my brother's car. Well, technically his wife's but it became his ride when they got a new Chrysler Pacifica. When I talked to the Kizashi owner, I was sitting next to the dog in the back of the KIA with the rear hatch open.Evanzo7 wrote: They are both lovely, good spots!

I was driving the fam home on I-35 around downtown KCMO tonight, and another, darker, S or SE Kizashi pulled up behind me. We passed each other a couple times on the highway, but the driver seemed to be having a very serious conversation with the occupants of his Kizashi, and didn't notice me. Plus it was super-dark outside, which probably didn't help.

Saw a Kizashi turning in an intersection a few weeks back here in Chicago...and not another one since...
Our parking neighbor that had a silver one twin of the one KuroNekko spotted moved so there's no longer 2 Kizashi parked side by side anymore. I really should have taken a picture of that when we had it--it was the largest regular gathering of Kizashis in the world!

That's now been left to me eh!SamirD wrote:

Every time I go to that Supermarket I make sure I park next to it!
I even left them a Kizashiclub.com sticker as I made too many but I don't think they've joined the site!

We should have a thread for 'World Largest Regular Kizashi Gathering (2+ cars)'Evanzo7 wrote:That's now been left to me eh!SamirD wrote:

Spotted another black Kizashi this weekend! This is the only black one we've seen in the area and only the 4th Kizashi ever! The owner immediately took a doubletake at ours as we pulled in the parking lot, indicating they knew the rarity of their car. I thought about communicating something along the lines of 'nice car', but it was simply too cold outside.
Can you see what I see?
