Paint coming off Rims?

A few days ago I noticed what l though was a splatter of something on my left driver side front tire.
Upon close inspection it looks like paint has come off, however it doesn't look like chipped off or scratched off but but blotches.
My other tires seem to be fine.
Anyone seen this?
(FYI one of the pics does show scratched within the blotched area, I initially thought it was some sort of splatter of liquid, so I tested scraping it off.)

Yep, this a a common problem. If you're under warranty, Suzuki will refinish them for you. But if you're not under warranty, you're out of luck.
But it's not too bad to refinish wheels on your own or via a company that specializes in fixing wheels ($100/wheel).

There's a DIY thread from someone who fixed their wheels themselves, including the curb rash.

Will they cover flaking clearcoat (not the paint) on the wheels too? I detailed mine a few weeks back and noticed a few locations where it's starting to peel.

In my experience yes.

The Warranty according to Suzuki on the Wheels are 12 months or 20,000km both of which are over. I tried to fix a paint small dent scratch with touch-up paint and it looks worse than the dent.
I don't have the motor skills to fix wheel rash, that's why I am in I.T.

Well, then the next cheapest option is a professional refinisher. Or you can get a ready refinished wheel from LKQ/Keystone.

I have the same problem, although a little less severe. At this point I've decided not to take my chances with a refinish, so I'm just going to leave the wheels as is and maybe just do some touch up paint and clear-coat.
See my thread about it from February:
