Debadged Rear & Blacked OutFront

Just debadged the S and Suzuki off the rear. Left the Kizashi to confuse. On the front I blacked out the S and have some Avery Supreme Matte Black Car Wrap Film ordered to black out the painted bumper between the upper and lower grill. I expect to have more guys not just tailgate to read the rear, like they have in the past, but now come up front to read the grill. If the S is still too noticeable I may Plasti Dip the whole top grill and painted bumper. I'll decide after I put the black film on the bumper and if I see a few guys scratching their heads trying to figure out what I'm driving. Hoping this will make trips on the highway more interesting.

I've debadged mine on the rear, fitted front DRL's (where the fogs are on higher level Kizashi's), black out the front bar, tinted the windows and fitted aftermarket rims and tyres. I had some loser in a BMW Z4 drag racing off the lights next to me a couple of days back. He was previously doddling along at 10km/h beneath the limit, when I had passed him a minute earlier on a dual lane road.... He was holding up traffic

.
He looked like a classic "mid life crisis" example - mid fifties, dyed hair, Z4's top down on a cold cloudy/ windy 13 degree C day.... Then (after flooring it off the lights and passing me), he was waving - so he must have taken great pride in "blowing away" a four cylinder Suzuki that wasn't even trying (or speeding!) He would have had to have exceeded 90km/h in a 60km/h zone. I got footage on my dash cam.
I'm guessing he thought I was driving something more exotic/ powerful?

A four cylinder Suzuki can take any BMW. However, it has to be one of these:

I have been challenged by quite a few before I debadged. A few BMW's, Corvettes and for some reason many Dodge products. I did take on a challenge by a Lexus a few days after I had just bought the Kizashi and beat him. I say I beat him (Lexus) because he did not know how to race and started out in too high a gear. Most I just smirk at and ignore the challenge. I expect more curious drivers now that I have debadged.
Has debadging increased driver curiosity for you guys?
Reminds me of a 66 Chevelle I had with a 289cu in V8 with two barrel carb and two speed auto trans. It was jacked up with wide tires, it looked pretty mean. I was challenged many times in that car. I discovered that I could beat HO Firebirds from a 20 roll till about 70. I actively seeked out HO Firebirds and whipped them then after many times pulled over and showed them what was under the hood. I enjoyed the scowl on the drivers face and the laughs from their friends when they saw what had just beat a 400cu in car.

Any pictures if the debadged rears? I've always wanted to but felt like there would be too much empty space without the S

Here are two cars with debadged rears

I was nervous about taking the badges off. But the other day with the car sitting in the sun I grabbed a piece of fishing line and tried. Within 20 minutes I had the S and Suzuki off. Simple! If you don't like the look just re-glue the emblems back on. I think 3M has a adhesive sold in most auto part stores.

Don't you mean a 283 cu? A 289 cu is a Ford engine. But then again, I guess it's possible your Chevelle had a Ford power plant in it.

Your correct, it was a 283, that was a slip of my memory. I miss that Chevelle. My wife talked me into selling it. She was tired of guys trying to race her while she was driving to the grocery store. Now she wants me to get a "Classic" car. I'm watching for a 63 Impala convertible. I tell her we already have a rare, class car, our Kizashi.
