My SLS Kizashi still has no Hiccups or Gremlins...3k miles ago I switched to Mobil-1 15w50 Oil just cause it gives me a Warm Fuzzy feeling of having a thicker Grade Synth Oil on these Hot/Jersey Summer Months. So far no loss of MPG detected with the thicker oil or loss of power. :?:

I received my Recall notices, and just looking for free time to get to the dealer to have them Do it.

Overall...still Loving My Kizashi :D 8-) :D

Be careful what you assume, the "0" was no typo. do some research its great oil. and when its zero degrees out the car starts so much easier. I've used 0/30 in my truck with great success.

0w- (as in 0w20, 0w30 or 0w40..) syn oil is nothing new...been using 0w30 German Castrol Syntec in my turbo 1.8T.

I had never run into 0w. I am sure it would be great for cold starts. I have been using Castrol Syntec 5W-, but am trying their newer EDGE synthetic oil this time (do not know it it is really any better).

I used Syntec 5W-50 in my Morano from first oil change until at 130,000 miles, I traded it in on my AWD Kizashi. Engine was like new - it was the mileage on the CVT (which was starting to leak) that had me nervous.

gaww what year was the nissan, i hope its not true of all cvt's. vwoom i test drove a 2.0T when i was looking for my sls and it was an awesome motor and tranny (for me) real lively and fun, however the rest of this car was a rattle trap ,only had 27k on it though. kind of swayed me a bit.
