Kizashi MPG Tracking

So I had joined a site a while back that allows people to track their car's mpg/mileage fill up prices, cost per mile etc. I noticed their aren't many Kiz's being tracked (Only 18 including mine). I know I used this as an aid to see what type of mpg I could expect if I got the car, but there being so few made it difficult to judge. :|

All you'd need to do once signing up is input current mileage, gallons put in tank and price (optional, but helpful for referencing yearly and running costs) and you're done. I usually just snap a pic or write down the mileage on the receipt and put it on the site when I get home. There is also a mobile app, but I don't use it.

 Let us help potential owners. :drive:

I've been on it for a couple years :)

Just so you know, you can set up a vehicle code on the site so you can text Fuelly your info and it auto uploads to your profile.

For example, I use codes "K" for Kizashi and "V" for the motorcycle, so I just text
"K [mileage] [price/gal] [gallons purchased]" and it updates on the site.

I had noticed your sig, and remembered seeing it on Fuelly before! Question, are the brackets necessary when sending the text or does it know aft the code?

No brackets necessary. My last fillup text to Fuelly was:

K 27438 1.879 13.359

I only did the brackets because the above might not have made sense without some explanation.

That's awesome. I've been tracking my fuel efficiency on a spreadsheet but I might switch to fuelly just for that

The site has useful graphing/tracking functions, and you can actually import what you've already tracked. I'm not too proficient at Excel so I'd rather let Fuelly do all the work haha

Just made my Fuelly account. It looks like it's good for doing lots of research on other cars too!

Now I just need to remember to use it.

It becomes second nature after a while. I've been filling up every Sunday, so I make it a routine.

My Kizashi probably has the most miles tracked and the best avg mpg of active users. Thanks for the tip.
