TPMS problem

I am another Kizashi owner (2010 SLS AWD), loved the car, but the recent TPMS problem is annoying me. Going through the forum and found a lot of information. SamirD's method of the "relearn, drop perssure" is great.

I just got 3 of my TPMS changed:
- I broke the first valve, and the garage told me I had to change the TPMS
- upon checking with their handheld tool, they say 2 others are out, so I have to change as well

They use this "17-43013 SMART SENSOR PRO"

Anyone know if this model is compatible?

Reason I ask is, every time I relearn, and register, the car runs fine for about 2 days, then the TPMS light comes up blinking again, first one blink, then another day, 2 blinks, then go back to one blink.......

Any idea how this can be fixed?

Thanks.

Sean

If the relearn is taking, it has a way of sometimes 'unlearning'. I found that out last year when switching to the summer tires. I had to do the relearn twice before it finally 'took'.

As far as the triggering tool, the official Suzuki tool is a Ateq vt55 and I have an Ateq vt30 which works. Aside from those, I'm not sure if any other tools work. Back when I first looked into this, I ordered several tools and only found the vt30 to work. Of course, then the tire pressure drop method was found, so a tool isn't even necessary now.
