Hello everyone,

I was curious of opinions on tires for the car...I was thinking of sticking with All seasons to save some money......I went to sams club to see what I could get and they didn't have a lot of options, he mentioned trying to get a different size tire that is more common....anyone know what is an exact other option that won't screw up the speedometer?

I was trying before to get winter and summer tires...another set of steel rims....however tirerack does not seem to carry steel rims for the car.

I got BFGOODRICH G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S. It is a great tire. I have a set on the original wheels for winter and a set of 20 inch for summer.

Plug your current size in here and it will show you different options and how far off they are from the current size. Anything within 3% is considered acceptable, but obviously the less variance the better.

Take a look at the Conti DWS06. You will also see good reviews about them online.

I have Continental Pure Contacts for my SLS. OEM size. They were reasonable in price and they are all weather. I've got 40K miles on them with lots of tread left. I've no complaints.

I had a set of Goodyear Eagles that I got 60,000 miles out of. I had them rotated about every 8000.

I have Eagles on mine as well, been near 15,000 miles, (I'm aggressive with turns and off-ramps), so I'm pretty impressed, overall, wet weather, snow, great experience for a set of tires that cost around $550- installed.

This site is extremely user friendly and easy to use BTW. I just so happened to stumble upon it the other night, while I was shopping for tires for Azumi.
