Driver side mirror
Hello all, does anyone know if it's possible to remove the black interior of the mirror my garage side wall decided to take a bite into my mirror and was curious if would need to replace with a whole new mirror or what, it isn't to bad but I'm thinking there's a reason they had plastic covering this area.

Parts for this car are sometimes hard to find. I would assume you're looking at replacing the whole thing. Or if you're not a huge stickler on aesthetics get some black epoxy to fill the gap in.
If you were my neighbor I'd trade you for mine as the mirrors on my car are about the only things that aren't scratched or dented

A little bondo a small piece of sandpaper and some flat black paint and you can touch that up in less than a hour.
