I hate to say but after owing my Kiz for 7 years I just noticed that there are fittings under the lid of the center console. Looks like you can store cards under there. What do you put under the lid?

It's actually one of the very first things I looked at when I took home my car. I noticed that a clip was broken so I super-glued it. I use the clips to hold insurance cards or business cards for auto body shops. I use the double pen clip for a permanent marker and a mechanical pencil. I use the permanent marker for my oil change reminder stickers though I also use "Trip B" in the display for monitoring mileage for the oil. "Trip A" is for the range of each tank of gas which can be selected to reset simultaneously with the fuel economy average in the display settings... just in case you didn't know about that too.

Mine holds all the invoices and bills from repairs. So it’s been empty for the past 7 years. 8-)

Honestly I didn’t know it was there.

I use my A and B tripometers the exact same way as KuroNekko does

Great! A new place to store my ink pen & note paper.
I have a CD sleeve on my sunviser that I store glasses & my ink pen. Now I can free up some space in that CD sleeve.
I also use my A & B trip meters the same way.

I store my sun glasses behind the assist handle above the driver's door window. Same thing I did with my SX4. I never use the handle and my sunglasses are always handy. The drop down in the console is never big enough.

The 'pen-holder' perfectly grasps an emergency cigar.

Elton John, is that you??? :geek:

I guess I use my trip odometers a bit different. Trip A is the same; total miles per tank. But for B I reset when my low fuel light turns on and I know I can get at least another 40-50 miles before I need to fill up. For oil I have a notebook where I log all my maintenance stuff and I just check it periodically to see when I'm due for a change.

Don’t forget with the internal fuel pumps these cars have the gas is what lubricates the pump. Not good to drain the tank every time.

I’ve been telling my wife this for years and 90% of the time I get in her car the light is on

In three years I never noticed the under side of the console lid. Got stuff stored there now.
