Hey guys, I tried looking around for an answer but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have a writeup on how to remove the rear seats from the Kizashi? I'm switching my cloth seats out for leather ones and I can't figure out how to disassemble the rear seats.

I'm not entirely sure given I've never done this for the Kizashi or seen a write-up, but I've removed the rear seats in previous cars. It often involves folding down the rear back rest and accessing the area between the seats and the trunk. The Kizashi has flaps covering that area so move them out of the way. You should then see bolts or nuts that anchor the seats and seat belts. Some cars also have anchoring bolts on the front of the rear seat, behind the foot well. However, I don't ever recall seeing them for the Kizashi during cleaning.

There should be little clips for part of it. The back seat cushion on the driver's side in Azumi has a tendency to "pop" when you sit on it, and then to "pop" out again when you get up. She's been like that since I bought her with 127 miles.

I'm particularly concerned about airbags and whether or not I need to disconnect the battery before doing this so as not to trigger the airbags. Is this even a risk ?
