8000 miles and...

We got our Kizashi back in January and we're finally at 8000 miles. I know, our car is SO abused, right?

So, the amp issue was fully resolved, and so was our paint issue.

In June, the route to work changed, instead of going to Overland Park, KS every day, our Kizashi can be seen navigating Downtown Kansas City, MO. The good news is, the average gas mileage has climbed over the last 5 months from 22.5 mpg to 24.7 mpg. Got to love that.

We are still getting a ton of compliments on the car. Just two weeks ago, we were at a gas station, and the person on the other side of the pump stepped over to our side to admire the car and ask a bunch of questions. She was floored when we told her it was a Suzuki. She seemed embarrassed at first to ask us how much it was, and when we told her what we paid for our fully loaded AWD SLS she was pleasantly surprised, remarking on how much car we got for that, and how much it looked like an expensive BMW to her. Hilarious.

That's just one of the many friendly conversations our car starts.

But, we've been feeling a little lonely on the road though. We are starting to wonder where are all the Kizashi's? Well, two weeks ago, we sighted another Azure grey Kizashi on the road. It was coming out of a neighborhood we used to live in even. We made sure to honk and wave as we drove past. It totally made our day, we hope it made theirs too.
