Kizashi Club

Hi Guys

I looked around at everything (Australia) and the Kizashi ticked all the boxes. very happy with it. XLS, silver, CVT. Had it only two weeks. Had 5000 km on the clock. One (small?) problem though.

About half the time, I get out of the car and as soon as the door is shut I get the message "Key fob not detected" and you cant lock it (via the remote). I think Ive tried everything, passing the remote close by the button before getting out, making sure Im in Park, all doors shut, tried with the second remote as well. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Any suggestions (before I take it back to them).

Both fobs do the same? May want to try a battery. Most auto parts stores have a tester for the remotes.

I know if I have my iPhone in the pocket as my fob it won't work. Something about the phone signal.

I have solved it. Put it in park BEFORE you hit the stop button!!!!
