Hello guys, does any one know any cheap fix for this? Passenger A Pillar trim piece loose from top (see attached)

I've tried sticking the inside with double sided tape but eventually it comes out loose. Any help is appreciated, don't wanna buy a new part as it's around 100$ and there are no salvage cars around.

there is a plastic edge in the pillar this clip is attached to that then press-fit into the body hole (square shape hole).
unfortunately, I do not have photos but found this from the Service manual I hope it helps:

I’ve seen this a lot . The clip can be saved by using a long pair of side cutters to squeeze and remove without damage . Then place it on trim tab and pop it back in place . If clip slides off to easy , maybe some super glue on the tab and then slide clip on. I work with trim in place but pull weather stripping back

Needed to reseat the A-pillar cover after years of it no being reinstalled properly by dealer after they removed it to clean the grease their mechanic deposited all over it from his arm or sleeve whilst replacing inspection stickers. The side window defroster hadn't worked all that well ever since, because the thing wasn't seated at the bottom by the windshield properly. Came here looking for pics of what it all looked like and didn't find anything, so I thought I'd add some detail to this thread. Pics are in no particular order. Getting the bottom edge seated near the windshield properly before pushing it against the A-Pillar and seating the fasteners is key to proper reinstallation. Both the metal and plastic clips should be on the cover when reinstalling. The yellowish plastic one will remain on the A-Pillar when removing the cover, following the FSM instruction posted above, and the metal one should come off with the cover, but probably won't due to the fact that the tangs of the clip aren't biting in to the cover's plastic tab deeply enough. I had to bend the 'teeth' of the metal clip before reinstalling it on the cover.
