Is there a setting where the doors automatically lock after shifting out of P or when the car reaches certain speed? thanks

I don't think there is, at least not in the MT trans

Not an option my dealer was able to locate on the tech II

what do you mean locate on the tech II??

The tech II is a tool service depts plug into the cars computer. Once done some setting can be changed. As on my Saturn, you have options when the doors lock or not at all.

so do i just go into the dealership and ask the service department if they have tech II??
