The "one small thing I never hear mentioned" inspired this thread, but the other way.

What small things are you surprised the Kizashi doesn't have? We aren't talking redesigning the car here - things that must have been overlooked.

The one that gets me is no power retract/fold for the outside mirrors. Especially if this is to be a "world" car. Everyone in Asia folds their mirrors in when parking unless they have a microcar, many cars do it automatically when you turn off the ignition.

The other is the way the engine switch works. I really wish there were a way to stop the engine and keep the radio on. The nav takes forever to boot up.

The number one item on my wife's list is there is no way to raise the passengers seat for short people. She is 5'-2" tall and the inability to raise this seat is an oversite in her opinion.

well mine (a canadian AWD) doesnt have homelink which was the biggest surprise to me. It could use with a color display instead of an LED dot matrix in a 30 grand car. The new jetta has a touch screen color display at this price. I want the trunk button to work without the keys in my pocket.

For the CVT versions, you can do that by stopping it while in drive (AFAIR). Not sure if it's healthy or not for the engine, though...

For the Canadian version: homelink and HIDs. And navigation, to a lesser degree (as I don't dig the way the one Suzuki offers looks).

I hate it when the "top of the line" version does not offer (even as options) features that the car has in other parts of the world. Suzuki's not the only one approaching things this way, unfortunately (at least in Canada). I know it's cost related, but it still bugs me.

A radio that has bluetooth audio, USB inputs but not a simple aux in 3.5mm jack. They did so many things right and missed this.

I agree on that one.

you can do that by shutting off the engine while it is in neutral.
I am surprised that there is no 3.5mm aux in......that really bugs me........

The cheap interior rearview mirror. The mirror I have in my GTS looks like it was bought from the automotive aisle at CVS drugstore and glued onto the windshield.

I owned a 2004 camry prior, the mirror inside it had a digital compass and a dimming feature for nighttime. Even last night when I was driving my GTS, someone's headlights behind me were blinding me through the mirror as if they had their brights on. It should be standard on all the kizashis to have a mirror that automatically dims.

Oh, and the camry I owned prior also had a black mesh screen that could be pulled down in front of the back window. It allowed me to see out, but no one could see in, so it made the back window look like it was just tinted really dark. That helped a lot at night with bright headlights behind me. I just pulled it down and left it that way as long as I drove the car. I wish the kizashi also had that.
