Sold the Kizashi: Gas mileage pissed me off to no end. Less then 27 hiway and under 17 around the town. To and from work was 19plus while my Saturn ION-3 with the 2.4L auto delivers 29plus to and from work, with a best of 36mpg hiway Bought my wife a used 2006 Pontiac Solstice 2.4L with a 5 speed manual box. It's was one third the price, more fun to drive and gets 17% better gas mileage. Best part is the smile my wife has when ever she is in the car.

Wow, oh well...
I think she would have enjoyed the Kizashi much more with the MT.
If you don't mind sharing, how much did you get for the Kizashi (Ice blue SE, right)
How long did it take to sell?

Should have gotten a Suzuki motorcycle – even better gas mileage and more fun to drive.

Hard to figure out why your Kiz got such poor fuel efficiency (mine gets 32/22 on average), but that Solstice is a VERY NICE looking ride. I saw a lady driving one just last week, same color, and was very impressed. I hope it is a solid car for you and your wife.
I'm hoping to make my next car a 2009 Lexus IS350. 306hp in a classy comfortable sedan.

I would have taken the Kiz and unloaded the ION!
But hey that's just me, good luck - that Solstice looks sweet.

Rj, hope your wife enjoys the new car. A nice feminine look for the driveway, I like it!
Actually, reminds me of the time there was one of the Chrysler two-seaters with Mercedes underpinnings that the dealer could not unload. Actually was selling a $35,000 car for $20,000, and no takers. I would have loved it, but I need that back seat.

Crossfire was an AMG C32 in different clothing.

Ahhh the Crossfire. I know it well, having owned one. I bought a used 2004 Coupe in early 2007. It had under 5K miles on it and i paid $17K for it. It was built by Karmann, and used the previous generation MB SLK platform. It used the MB 3.2 V6, with either a 5 Speed automatic or 6 speed manual. The 3.2 really wasn't all that powerful at 215HP, considering the car weighed around 3100 pounds. It wasn't slow, but it also wasn't as fast as it's looks would lead you to believe, UNLESS you bought the SRT6 version. That was the Chrysler version of the SLK32 AMG. WIth 330HP, the Crossfire became a lot more interesting.
I liked the way mine drove when it was dry out, but it could be a handful in the rain with 35 series 19" steamrollers in the back. It was pretty cramped inside, but it did handle very nicely. It was a fun car, but not a very good DD, so i ended up trading it in on my Caliber R/T AWD, which i still have.
