Does anyone have a problem with what seems like stone chips in unusual places ? Read the forum on what is happening in America . Seems we might have the same problems ?...

Mate, I am having problems with my 'Fervent Red' Kizashi, built in July, 2010. It's done 12,000kms and has about a half dozen paint chips on the bonnet, a couple on both front doors, and at least three on the roof. My previous ten year old car had less paint chips than the Kizashi.

What colour is yours, jj351?

No warranty claim yet, but if it gets worse, I'll be lodging one.

Where are you getting chipping and when was it built?

Mate, are you based in Sydney?

We should take some pictures of the chips and compare.

Yeah . Out west . Went to see Suzuki and they did the obvious , stone chips ... I insisted on seeing someone else and they are getting some official from Suzuki
. I think I will go to some smash repairers to measure the thickness of the paint to build a case .

Washed my car today and found some more chips on the bonnet and both front doors :x Seems like the paint is so weak, it chips when you look at it the wrong way. Will be attempting to lodge a warranty claim but won't hold my breath on them honouring it. Had a 2003 Camry with 140,000kms that had less chips than my near new Kizashi :(

I will keep you posted . It's a shame really . It's a fantastic car . I am very happy with it bar this problem . We need to get more 2010 owners together to build a stronger case ....

Several members in the US have had their cars repainted under warranty.
