That's probably the case.
I did manage to drop it to 9+ once. I had the 'fuel economy' meter on screen and was trying not to go over 30L/100km whenever I accelerate.
That's not the way to drive... and I just gave up trying. Now, I just drive and fuel up when needed... :D
I saw it down that low once, after I reset it and was rolling down Flagstaff hill. in neutral. with a tail wind

I have the manual trans and I usually sit anywhere around 8.2-8.6, there have been times where I have had it sitting around 7.6-7.8! With the aircon on continuously, I get around 9.3-9.5.

It dropped down to 9.9l/100km average today.

I'm not using full throttle, however, I'm not driving for economy either eg. usually in third gear in 50km/h zones, not changing into fifth until 80km/h, revving it out to 4000-4500rpm under moderate loads when the traffic and speed limit allow. I also have some steep long hills I drive up/ down everyday.

Forgot to mention I had a white Kizashi following me today - highly unlikely to be anyone on here though. It had the fog lights and sunroof, so not the base model; but it didn't have the cross hatch lower grille so not the AWD Sport either.

If the looks you get are anything like you get here in New Jersey, U.S.A., you might find them a bit ahem intrusive. Everyone is always interested, it seems, in the driver behind the vehicle (me). They ranged the other day from the hot young mom in a Grand Vitara whose look was deeply longing, like a soul mate's, to the tough bulky guy in the Dodge pickup who just kept looking and as his head kept turning -like 180 degrees. I prefer those hot young moms, by the way.

Evidently, people just can't resist thinking "what kind of guy drives this car." Sort of like being undressed.

Hi All- Im in Melbourne. Just picked up my Kizashi 12 My 13 AWD sport 2 days ago. I LOVE IT. As with other members I have also owned lots of different cars (20 to be exact) but i do have to keep this one for a while, my man has spat it with me and said we would have owned more houses by now if I had put money into them instead! LOL.
I too have not seen many Kizashis on the road -only swifts. I got the update on the car which came out around 2 weeks ago - from what the sales guys says (do you trust them??) any way it comes with the sat nav and reverse camera, parking sensors front and rear. The sat nav is good, still having problems pairing my phone to the system. The reverse camera is just ok, as when it rains, the screen becomes almost unreadable due to rain on the camera lense (not sure if they could have put it any where other than where it is) The other drama I am having is that is was sold to me with the kick arse sound system (425W) -and when I had it for one night - I realised that it didnt have it. I was pretty p...off about that and rang them and said you cant sell some thing and not deliver that was said. They are speaking to head office about it now in the hope that they can get the speakers for me and fit them -they recon they will fit into the existing speaker slots ( I have my doubts) so still waiting to see.
I really do enjoy driving the car - its just a great all round perfect package (well maybe a little more grunt NM needed) but kids excited and I keep peaking out my window to look at it.

Hi, great to see another Aussie. :)

It would be interesting to know if it really is an updated model you've got - or they've just installed a satnav system? It was a dealer fit option that they installed in previous years. You're right though about missing out on the Rockford Fosgate stereo, although if the satnav was dealer installed you should still have the Rockford Fosgate speakers and amplifier (the amplifier is separate to the Rockford Fosgate head unit.)

Out of interest, is there a brand name on the satnav head unit? They were fitting Kenwood and then Eclipse head units last I heard. But from the pics of the new GPS systems in the Grand Vitaras they are now some plain looking no name systems?

Actually, I just checked Suzuki Aust website and the Sport is now listed as only having 7 speakers like the Touring - so no more Rockford Fosgate stereo system I guess? There's no listing for the GPS in the same equipment list though. (The Prestige still has the 10 speaker Rockford Fosgate system listed!) They still show this Eclipse unit as the GPS option for the Sport http://www.suzuki.com.au/vehicles/model ... dia-unit-2 elsewhere on the site.

My guess is they haven't updated all the site (and possibly an earlier model Sport with the optional Eclipse GPS was a better thing - as you got the Rockford Fosgate 10 speaker system including subwoofer and the amplifier.) :(

Carsales.com has listings now of MY13, listing GPS and reverse camera in the specs. Sadly gone is Rockford Fosgate system and Sub-woofer. No brand on unit, (All factory fitted) although GPS is Garmin. Not great sound now, in my opinion but am loving the voice activation phone and audio...

I guess that's how they keep prices the same...

Yes, I just had a look on Carsales. http://www.carsales.com.au/demo/details ... rt=default shows a pic of the dash in the MY13 Sport. It appears to have a smaller screen size than the previous Kenwood/ Eclipse units (which were both very expensive top of the range head units.)

Actually, I just checked a MY13 Prestige and it lists the same 7 speaker stereo with SatNav/ voice recognition and reversing camera - so no more Rockford Fosgate 10 speaker systems in Australia! The Touring seems to have stayed the same as the previous models.
