Yes, apparently it's a rubber like coating that can be removed if required by peeling it off? It's used for protection.

Looks like it could be a good colour match for the grille?

Just found a picture I took when the bar was off - thought I had one somewhere with the detail you required.

Not very clear as it's a crop from a much larger picture. I do think you'd need to at least remove the bar to get it off. I assume two of the silver bits are bolts securing the plate mount and the other two are the bolts holding the plate on protruding through the rear of the bar? The other bits appear to be moulded into the rear of the bar- at first I thought they might have been some sort of clip securing the mount, but I don't think so?

Some more info - I was under mine yesterday and you wouldn't be able to access it from behind the bar with the undertray removed. The steel reinforcement part of the chassis is in the way.

I had a black Kizashi Sport following me this afternoon.... I so want that mesh lower grille....

I got my Plastidip from here http://www.caswellplating.com.au/store/ ... on-coating
I also took the bumper bar off to install factory fog lights I got from the US for $287, it was so easy to take off, just 3 bolts on top one each inside wheel arch and about six philips head screws underneath.
Once it's off you can get to the grill pieces easy.

Thanks for posting the link. One day I might do something similar, but with the smoke colour. I bet you enjoy the Kizashi on Tassie's roads.

PS: Our Kizashi's are twins - have you got the manual trans or cvt?

Your grille looks nice rpps. Is it hard to get even? I wasnt expecting it to be so tidy for some reason
Thanks for the photo of the back of the grille btw murcod, i didnt get a chance on the weekend. Looks like we have triplets :) ive decided the sports grille in the non sports models would look better than the whole sports package in my opinion. I was parked next to a sport a few days ago (somewhat deliberately) and mine just looked a lot more sleek. 18s and an inch lower would be nice though

Hi David,
I bought my Kazashi 4 weeks ago, it is secondhand with 32,000klm on the clock. I had the new Ford Focus 2.0 litre manual hatch but I was getting sick of manual cars as most of my driving is in the city and traffic. I spotted this car in a caryard for $21,000 and I took mine in for a valuation they agreed to my price of $2,500 changeover.I just love this car the ride and handling is superb and the CVT is so smooth the only downside is it tries to go into top gear too early but I'm use to that now, I'm getting 9.2 L/100kl . I get a lot of looks from people as you don't see too many Kizashi's on the roads here. I have fitted Fog lights, Bonnet protector, Mudflaps and dashboard mat.
