JL sub and amp install questions

Hi there. I have a 2010 Kizashi SLS with the RF sound system without navi. I have recently purchased a JL 12w6 Sub and a JL 500/1v2 amp. I have some questions relating to installing this package along side the current setup. Basically I was hoping to leave the RF system alone including the weak free air sub. I was hoping to run a new 4 gauge power wire from the battery to the JL amp. I guess my questions are: Does my factory receiver have pre amp outputs for the current RF amp? Does it have 2 sets? Do I splice into the remote wire ran to the RF amp to tie a remote wire into the new amp? what steps should I be taking? Am I making this harder on myself than I need to?
Eventually I plan to go with an aftermarket receiver with navi(suggestions?), and new component speakers. But my budget doesn't currently allow me to pull it all off in one step. Although if I am told my current receiver can't handle a set of rca's then I may wait until I can afford one to install the new sub, rather than getting a converter.
I have installed 4 systems over the years, I am in no way a pro (obviously). I have never tore into a car this new and nice, and I have some reservations. Obviously I could pull the receiver and see for myself, but if possible, I'd like some advice before I start messing with things. I don't want to do something that could potentially damage my new gear or the RF system for that matter.
I've seen a couple other posts somewhat relating to what I am doing, but for some reason it's not real clear to me how to proceed. Maybe I'm a little thick? haha...
Thank you for your time, any help is appreciated!!
