I've been referencing two PDFs: a 3000 page service manual for 2010-2011(forgot where I got it from) and the 2011servoce manual posted here: http://www.kizashiclub.com/forum/viewto ... 843#p14843
Where is the DRL process in the service manual? I can't seem to find it

I've got these too. Which manual/page did you find it on?murcod wrote:Okay, so there's the three manuals:bootymac wrote:I've been referencing two PDFs: a 3000 page service manual for 2010-2011(forgot where I got it from) and the 2011servoce manual posted here: http://www.kizashiclub.com/forum/viewto ... 843#p14843

With the talk now of different SM versions floating around, I have high doubts some of the info in them is even valid.murcod wrote:As I posted earlier it is in the service manual....KuroNekko wrote: After all, it was from hearsay and no one actually could cite where in the service manual this was actually written.
I can try the 5x process, but I thought Bootymac tried that to no avail.
I also think it doesn't exist because there is very little logic behind a reason why Suzuki would have created a bypass method. I also have high doubts a live speed display exists.

OK, when out during lunch today and ended up disabling my DRLs. Used the Off to running lights 5 times, off to headlights 5 times. Heard the beeps. Also got a message that the Hill Hold had been disabled??? I didn't know the CVTs had a hill hold. Much less why it would disable when doing the DRL thing. Now the problem I can't turn them back on. I also can't remember if I just hit the start button once or twice to the ACC position. At least it worked for this guy. It did take several tries though, which is strange.

The Hill Hold is for autos and there was a thread somewhere about it going off or something. You may want to search for it.
I will try this 5x method to see if the DRLs turn off, but I actually like having DRLs. The only reason I want them off temporarily is because of the full power output they have currently with my LEDs on capacitors.

Hold on. May be a false alarm. Dummy here had his parking brake on which keeps the DRLs off. However, the beeps and hill hold message were not an illusion. More testing to come.
