Whether it works or not could depend on a number of variables, eg. year model of vehicle, country vehicle was made for (different spec levels), even software in BCM perhaps?

Yes, there are different service manuals that have different info in them. The manuals would vary for the previous mentioned reasons. Suzuki might have removed the "user" DRL disable function at some point and now solely use the Suzuki Diagnostic Tool to make those changes.

PS: I was looking on Pitstop Suzuki site yesterday and they list 2 or 3 different factory service manuals (different part numbers) depending on the year model.

Where is the DRL process in the service manual? I can't seem to find it
Okay, so there's the three manuals:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/h464ypdyphvzz ... 0-2011.pdf - 96Mb 3056 page (I'd forgotten I had that one.)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/h464ypdyphvzz ... 0-2011.pdf - 41Mb
and the online
http://avnet.synology.me/kizashi/Xml/SAW10A/index.html

The online has next to no info.
The online manual doesn't work for me in Chrome or IE. It loads but none of the buttons work!

Try Firefox. Sometimes it "locks up" on me, but a refresh usually loads the pages.

That 96Gb version seems the most comprehensive. But it unfortunately has a lot of issues with pictures, being both poor quality and in the wrong places eg check page 2410 :? (where the topic is sway bar removal and they've got a picture of the Suzuki service tool being plugged into the dashboard.)

Yeah, I tried it last weekend and it didn't work for me. Tried 4 times and 5 times, since it's written so poorly.

Do you get the digital MPH displayed in the center window of the dash? If so how?

I'm sure the Kizashi's display does not show speed, at least for North American models. In fact, I believe no Kizashi does anywhere because in the advanced settings, there is no option to have the display show speed despite allowing you to change temperature reading, language, fuel efficiency measure, and even control foot well lights among other things.

Agreed. I don't believe any Kizashi is set up to show speed digitally in the center dash. Don't know who started the rumor (wish it was true) that it can be done (without major modification) but it's not set up to do so!

I believe it was a misconception that came about because other cars can do so. I was in a co-worker's Audi S4 and he had the middle dash display show his speed in MPH. Other cars have this feature but the Kizashi does not.
