I had the usb replaced in the last 6 months and when they put it back together a screw must have not been tightened down enough. Does anyone know how to get the plastic housing off where the shifter sits? I have a CVT model.

ok, I just saw a post about replacing the usb. It doesn't appear that the part I thought was the problem is the problem. It looks like its held in by clips so I may just be out of gas on this one. It barely does it anyway.

You can try taking it out and reattaching it to make sure all the clips and trim pieces are aligned and inserted properly.

Have you checked out the service manual? It should have disassembly instructions with diagrams.

I haven't. I didn't think they would put that in there think people would be taking things apart.

Not owners manual,
service manual. It's the manual the Suzuki technicians use.

It's in the service manual but it just pops out with little clips. I had to get in there to adjust the E brake when replacing my rear pads/rotors. If you've had the HVAC or Radio out it's a very similar removal process.
