I have a 2012 SE CVT. Can I buy the steering wheel with the paddle shifter and it's an easy installation ? I really like the paddle shifter haha

$30 hey?

It's only over US$1000 new.... http://www.suzukicarparts.com/parts/201 ... am=F756080

I never realised there are two different style leather steering wheels. The Sport variety has the silver highlights (obvious difference), but also perforated leather. Then there's the other leather style wheel that appears to be the same as the non leather (apart from extra buttons).

Yahooo!! It worked!
Installed a GTS steering wheel on my base S with manual transmission and I now have cruise control. Seems cruise control is "Plug & Play" on the base S! All it needed where the switches to turn the cruise control on. The GTS steering wheel provided the switches. I followed Studbike's excellent instructions with a few additional steps since I had a GTS steering wheel with the additional Bluetooth switches and paddle shifters. I took some time to determine the bluetooth switches only effected the radio. Since I had no need for the paddle shifters (manual transmission) I disconnected the wires to the paddle shifters. Now I'm ready for a long road trip.

I wonder if the paddle shifters are plug and play as well?

I'd say it's quite likely they are.

My base S with manual transmission is as different as possible from the GTS AWD CVT transmission Kizashi. If the GTS steering wheel is plug and play on the base S I would not be surprised that the paddle shifters would be also on CVT equipped Kizashi's.

I am so pumped by this thread. I've been wanting to get an S manual Kizashi but the lack of cruise has been an issue. Now there is hope. Thanks for sharing this. Now just where to find a kizashi with low miles and a second donor steering wheel.

Took me about 20 minutes and $80 to find a steering wheel. Did a search online of junk yards. Found mine for $60 + $20 shipping best $80 I have ever spent. Rented a steering wheel puller from Autozone for free. Took me longer to get the wheel puller than to actually change the steering wheel. Can't help with finding a Kizashi.

I did this on my mainly to get the paddle shifters and added buttons and it works nicely. I can say the wheel is off by a few degrees - so might try to reinstall and see what I can fix.

Anyone need a black steering wheel with cruise? :)

That's so awesome! I saw this thread early on, but didn't know what ended up happening. Great to hear it was plug and play. 8-) Gives me quite a bit of hope for my factory HID project to be plug and play as well. 8-)
