Where is the the oil pressure sending sensor on the engine? And if it is bad where do I get another one?

I found it. It's not what is leaking the oil. The leak is lower below the exhaust.
Will remove the under engine cover and check further tomorrow. The engine is too hot now.

front side of engine or back side? My xfer output shaft seal had started leaking pretty good a while back and that would be back-side and be visible by poking your head up there w/ a light. No need to remove a cover to see it if car is on ramps.

I'm almost positive it's the oil filter that is/was leaking. I had a leak a month ago and thought it was the oil filter, so I did a oil change and installed a new filter. Before I replaced the oil filter I took a mirror and looked to see if a gasket was left on the engine from a old filter. From what I could see and feel, I did not think a old gasket was left on the engine. I installed the new oil filter and the leak was gone, for a week. Then a small leak started, for a few weeks, then yesterday the leak got much larger. My first suspect was a leaking oil pressure sender. I had a oil pressure sender fail just like that (small leak then large leak) years ago on another car. I found the oil pressure sender and found it was nice and dry. So, today I took the under engine cover off and crawled under and once again it seemed to be the oil filter. Again! I checked how tight the oil filter was and was able to turn the filter about 3/4 of a turn by hand. A few weeks ago that filter was as tight as I could get it with my hand. This time I took a oil filter wrench and turned the filter another 3/4 turn tighter than hand tight. This is a first for me. I have never had a oil filter loosen like this before.

I think I'd get a new filter on there before it really lets you down in a bad way...something isn't right with it. I had once bought a 1/2 dozen OE Suzuki filters at the dealer some years ago, and the threads in one of the filters were flat-out wrong. P/N was right, threads were too small. Chinese filters. Had them exchange for the pricier OE Suzuki Japanese filters and all was good. Could be a filter with threads too large or cut too loose. What brand and p/n is on there? Gasket could also be dimensionally incorrect. I'd be concerned about having to tighten w/ the wrench...I've never had to use a wrench to tighten a filter on either of the SX4s we've owned or the Kizashi. They're the same engine blocks and both cars take the same filter.

I agree. I don't trust that Bosch oil filter. The previous oil filter that leaked was a Purolator filter. When I replaced the Purolator I went with Bosch thinking it was a upgrade. I cranked that leaking Bosch down to verify that the leak was the filter and took a 40 mile trip. I stopped multiple times and popped the hood to verify that nothing had leaked unto the under engine cover that I had cleaned, and so far not a drop has leaked. I had carried a 5qt bottle of oil and a Mobil 1 filter in the trunk as a insurance policy in case the filter leaked. Luckily nothing leaked. So now I'm going to do another (early) oil change with new oil and the Mobil 1 filter. Lets see how the Mobil 1 filter holds up. I'm going through my stock of oil and filters faster than expected.
