Hi everybody
My car do not have useful options which is available in full version SDLX. options like Parking Sensor, Auto light ON and rain sensor, Xenon headlight, and Headlight washer and also cruise control.
so I decided to started a project to add some OEM options and come up with these sub projects:
1- Cruise control
2- light and rain sensor
3- Parking Sensor
4- Headlight Washer

cruise control(1) only needed OEM steering wheel with cruise key control the rest is done by ECM.
but other sub project need more technical information and wiring because you can by OEM parts for specific option but no wiring is exist in car. for example for rain sensor you need to wire CAN bus signal and also power and ground to rain sensor.
In following posts I decided to explain how to do that and show the result maybe these information is useful for someone else.

Install Rain and light sensor:
auto light and automatic wiper control in kizashi is managed by BCM (Body Control Module) but in order to do that BCM need Rain/light sensor module, this module is placed in front glass in predefined location.
rain/light sensor communicate with BCM module through CAN bus.
As always I bought parts from megazip.net
in order to activate this module 2 types of wiring needed
1- power and ground: I use ACC power from G248 connector(Audio System connector).
2- need 2 wires for CAN bus connectivity: I use HVAC unit and tap to WHT and RED wire connected to it. those wires are twisted wire by default.
unfortunately there is no predefined location to mount rain/light sensor module so I use 3M double sided tape (clear type) to mount this unit.
after wiring in first time I turn ON my car autolight LED on cluster is flashing 1s telling me to calibrate this module and after calibration autolight and wiper is working properly.

Autolight update:
in order to activate auto light kizashi uses Auto mode in headlight switch I use simple ON/OFF switch to manually do the job.
yesterday I decided to disassemble headlight switch and found out wire for AUTO mode is missing so I soldered new wire to headlight switch also cut some pieces of switch to add new position in switch and it worked! I just saved 90$ :D :D
in my modification in OFF position system in actually in AUTO mode.

this unit is a separate unit and no communication with any module in car just uses some signals in kizashi to do the task of controlling washer motor. actuator is mechanical part and just work with water pressure. controller is simple module with 6 Pin connector this module use those signals:
1- power and ground(use IG2 power signal) in my car I use ACC instead of IG2
2- headlight signal
3- headlight washer switch
4- windshield washer signal
5- signal to control washer motor
also headlight washer uses 12V from battery to supply current to drive motor this signal is come from engine fuse box

then I have cut rectangle hole in front bumper. fortunately there is drawing in back of bumper to designate cutting area for actuator( thanks to Suzuki engineers :D )

quick update on headlight washer:
it turns out I made mistake to mount hoses.
hoses should be mounted on front bumper and there are mounting points for metal clips and it make perfect sense now this way disassembling front bumper is so easier :D

These are amazing mods. Those headlight washers are pretty much like factory now.

Auto dim rearview mirror with Homelink install:
Recently I bought a Rearview mirror with HomeLink from eBay. this unit is equipped on some models in the US. unit is a GENTEX 536-type with a 10-pin special connector.
pinout of GNTX-536:
Pin 1 +12 VDC accessory power
Pin 2 Chassis ground
Pin 3 +12 VDC reverse
Pin 4 Electro-chromatic (+) to exterior mirrors
Pin 5 Electro-chromatic (-) to exterior mirrors
Pin 6 +12 VDC Battery power
Pins 7-10 are empty

according to the Kizashi wiring diagram auto dim mirror pin 1,2,3,6 are needed for this unit.
12V Battery and ground are available near the rearview mirror on the overhead console unit connector K125(pin 1 is 12 BATT, pin 2 is GND)
other signals I get from the junction control box below the steering wheel.
I built a new wire harness and routed it close to the car's OE wire harness to the roof.
overall everything worked as it should good improvement from the old rearview mirror to the new auto-dim with Homelink although one complaint: the keys on the OE rearview mirror do not have a backlit it would be nice to have that feature, especially with a red light like other buttons on car it's a shame.
