PCV Valve Inspection
1)Disconnect PCV valve from cylinder head cover and install plug in head cover hole.
2)Run engine at idle speed.
3)Place your finger over end of PCV valve (1) to check for vacuum.
If there is no vacuum, check for clogged valve referring to step 4).
4)Stop engine and remove PCV valve (1).
Install clean hose to valve and check that there is air flow when blowing air into hose from [a] to and that there is no air flow when blowing air into hose from to [a] as shown in figure.
If faulty condition is found, replace PCV valve.
Tightening torque
PCV valve: 2.5 N·m (0.25 kg-m, 2.0 lbf-ft)
my car at 151km follow the procedure in the service manual and use an injector cleaner spray to clean the PCV valve.everything checks out OK

car at 193,000km as preventative maintenance, I bought an OE PCV valve with the hose and wanted to replace both but the hose is too hard to pinch at the intake manifold so I didn't risk it just replaced the PCV valve . the part number for PCV value is 18118-78K00 and hose 11192-57L00.
