Just bought probably the last manual they will get in in Wichita. I always join the club for any car I own as the info from others is invaluable. I have been in the Porsche club since 1982, auto-crossed since 83, track driving instructor since 90 and PCA club racer since 03 (over 50 race weekends). I am the local tech contact for 944 and boxsters. I will provide any help I can to those interested in driving and will accept any tech goodies anyone might have about the SK.
As to why Wichita has the biggest dealer:
Free popcorn, soda and coffee
huge inventory
years of huge sales created a critical mass
nice people and good sales invironment
Wichita is a blue collar, value buyer town
Hey Adrian, thanks
First projects: Seat covers from autogeek, hard wire for radar detector, mild wheel spacers (1-1.3 in.) , drill flat tabs on sway bars to flatten out handling a bit, rear first to take out some understeer.
Will update as they happen if anyone is interested.

Sounds great. Welcome to the forum. I admittedly still don't have a kizashi, and I have recently been spending more time on the saab 9-2 forum than my own, but I do try to keep the standards on this site fairly high. Over all we have a good community. I expect we will continue to grow for awhile as suzuki exits the country.

Have owned an Escort 9500ix for about two years, Move it to what I am driving. I hate having cig lighter power cords so I hard wire each vehicle. The power cord is a standard phone jack. It uses the two center wires, red and green.
I just grab some old phone cord, cut it to length and come off of a power wire or fuse box, switched or not is your choice.
On the Kiz I ran the wire to right side of rear view mirror at top of windshield. It goes behind the windshield header trim, down the A pillar under the door rubber seal, under the dash above the right kick panel. There is a fuse panel there. put it under a spare fuse, #2 i think. Grounded under a carpet attachment stud.
Comes on with ignition.
I tried to come off power for the dome lights but did not find way to drop the panel and didn't want to break something. Have done that in other cars often, very easy and handy. Boxster and Lexus that way.

Glad to see I'm not the only member trying to represent Kansas here! I live on the Kansas side of KC, but I just got my 2011 Kizashi SE from the Missouri side.
Anyways, welcome to the board yo!
P.S. Glad to see Wichita State is the only team still representing KS in the NCAA Tournament too. Way to go Shockers!

Wichita State and Michigan also made it to the Final Four in 1965 along with Princeton and UCLA. Ain't that an odd line-up and odd that Michigan and WS are repeating. Good luck to WS on the game against Louisville, I'd love to see the major upset.
