Hi everyone. I am from Melbourne, Australia. I am new to this forum. I just bought a red Kizashi sport yesterday. I am excited to pick it up this week (after tints and slim line plates are added). I will post some pics for you soon!

Welcome. We have a good presence of Australians in this international Kizashi forum.
Is yours brand new? I'm curious as to what the 2014 Kizashis are spec'ed like. Suzuki left North America so Americans and Canadians no longer can buy new Suzuki cars.

:) Welcome.

That's a Sport AWD I assume you've bought? They all seem to have "Sport" in the name with the latest update - Sport Touring, Sport Prestige and Sport AWD.

Good move with the slimline plates. I need to get some fitted on mine- I hate the current stock sized plates.

KuroNekko, our models have always been specced differently to North America. The latest guise has them all with the Sport bodykit and 18" rims. Manual only on the lowest spec Touring, CVT on the Prestige and AWD. AWD is only available on the top range AWD model. No RF stereo- the Prestige and AWD have the Garmin double DIN GPS system, the Touring has the old bottom rung Panasonic head unit. No subwoofers in any of them AFAIK.

I'm very curious to see what Suzuki does with the Kizashi in 2015. That's the year that it's supposed to get redesigned. Given the poor sales, I wonder if Suzuki will eliminate it. The car is not really competitive anymore as is so it needs an overhaul, especially with the drivetrain technology. Personally, I think Suzuki will cancel the car and focus what it learned with the Kizashi on the next SX4 sedan as it's rumored to split off from the cross-over version that is the new S-Cross. The Suzuki "Authentics" concept car is very Kizashi-like yet is said to be the upcoming C-segment offering with a focus on China. In essence, it's the new SX4. Time will tell what happens to the Kizashi.

Welcome and enjoy both your Kizashi and this forum. This is a very international forum however there are a number of us from the land of Oz. The Kizashi has not sold well so we're a reasonably rare buch however the Kizashi itself is a great car especially if you appreciated sporty dynamics.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I bought a new (demo) sport touring CVT with only 800km on the clock. The same as in the pic http://www.caradvice.com.au/249396/suzu ... try-point/. Its a 2013 model and was advertised at 25,875 drive away before negotiating down further. :D A good saving on the 2014 models which are 30k with the same features. I feel like a kid waiting for xmas day. cant wait to pick it up.

Your getting a lot of car for the money so enjoy. If you haven't owned a car with a cvt before it may take a bit of getting used to but don't be put off I'm used to mine now and mostly enjoy it. Not sure if your versions got the paddle shifts but if it does they'll get a bit of use.

There are some good bargains for "last year's models" - that how I bought my Touring (but no CVT for me!)

BTW the paddle shifters can be added on by obtaining the steering wheel assembly from the applicable model. It's been done on here by someone in the USA- all "plug and play".
