From the marketing department: "Protected! 80% of the car’s sheet metal is zinc-coated, galvanized steel, providing superior corrosion resistance. Resin underbody panels are added for additional protection." So save your money and use it on car washes!
It's 80% of the total car. It's 100% of the underbody from what I've read. Let's hope these measures keep our Kizashis from rusting easily.

Pulled my exhaust trim pieces off for cleaning and there's some corrosion beginning to take hold of the metal up in there above the exh tips behind the bumper cover.

You pulled the chrome pieces around the exhaust off? Is it hard? How do you do it?

Not hard, accessible from underneath. (2) small 10mm hex bolts and a Phillips screw.

Oh perfect! I wanted to take them off and clean them and paint them black to match with the other black accents on the car. Thanks!

I don't mind spending some extra on it. I plan to keep the car for some time.
