Hey guys, I just thought I would drop a note about this article I saw. It looks like the Kizashi might share the same platform as the Chevrolet Epica. I’m not too sure if the guy has his facts right though. You can probably decide for yourself.

Next generation Grand vitara will use stretched version of the Kizashi platform

The Kizashi is an all-SMC platform. That, and SMC and GM have 100% parted ways...SMC is in bed with Volkswagen now.

I think the original plan may have been for the Epica and the Kizashi to share the same platform. The ball was rolling for both of those cars before the whole GM meltdown. It is going to be interesting to see what happens with Suzuki and Volkswagen over the next few years. We were talking about a TDI Kizashi before, but I'll probably just make a new topic on the subject since it is bound to come up again.
