Went to my dealer for an oil change yesterday. I asked him about the spider recall and he said if I had an extra hour they would do it along with the oil change.

He said they have not found any vent tubes with a spider web in them yet.

I'm not sure were the spider filter was installed but the area by the drivers side rear fender
was covered with dusty handprints.

This recall has now begun to hit the news. All dealers should have the preventative filter ready soon... hopefully.

Parts manager called yesterday...Spider fix parts are in. Now I have to schedule to get the work done. Shouldn't be any issue.

I feel slighted, Suzuki doesn't like me.

Has everyone received this recall notice, or are some of you just going into the dealer preemptively?

Did you buy new or second hand? All original owners should def receive the letter. If Suzuki doesn't know you own the car it'll be hard to track you down. Attached to the recall letter comes a card for the original owner to fill out and return informing them who the next owner is if original owner no longer owns the car. Guess how many of those get filled out and returned  The air bag sensor recall for the SX4 pass seat cushion has been out forever and my wife just got it in the mail a week ago. No rhyme or reason. Both cars are going in Saturday morning for their respective recall work.

I didn't get noticed in mail, since I bought mine used with 460miles on it, however I did sign up on Suzuki auto website, still no communication from Suzuki corporate to me, oh well, what do you expect from Suzuki.

Call their customer relations number (1-800-934-0934) and get them to associate your contact info with your VIN. It's what I had to do to start getting notices. I bought mine pre-owned as well.

I just called my dealership. Said I am not the first caller but they say they don't have any parts to fix the issue(s). He said try calling next week. I gotta tell you, my garage is huge and I got spiders galore and my suzuki sits in there a lot. I just got a Ford Fiesta ST and so it gets a lot of my "fun" attention. I wouldn't be surprised if my tank needs to be replaced.

Just have to wait and see.
