...just thought I'd put it on here since we get a lot of 'what oil, etc.' posts from time to time. Now it's all in one place on the forum.

16.6428 according to google. That's a pretty good sized tank. I had "---" for the range yesterday when I filled up and it was only 13 gallons, so I had 3 gallons in reserve. Good to know.

That reserve may not always be the same from fill to fill. I have no way of backing this staement up, but I believe the range changes based on how long (miles) you've driven since the '---' appears. Hence it dials in the range better so next time you may have 1 or 2 gallons left.

Yep, I kind of expected that's the way it works. I'm sure the fuel light works off a different sensor as I've noticed that in most cars. I usually watch that versus any range information. But it was surprising that there was almost 3 gallons left when the light came on. That's almost 100 miles if you really feather it on the highway.
