Phone "noise" in bluetooth mode

Everytime I use the bluetooth in my car I get complaints of bad reception on the other side. Even in a strong signal area I get the complaints. I made adjustments to the nosie reduction and echo. Anybody find a nice medium? I hate the fact that I can use the bluetooth in car.
