Suzuki of America has been closed, so how can they sell New Grand Vitara?

I wonder if they've ditched the 1980's tech 4 speed auto? That combined with ditching the 3.2l V6 a year or two back has ensured I won't be updating our XL-7 to a new Grand Vitara.
