I've been following this car for a few months now.
Interesting that they overhauled the AWD system for something more advanced.

To me, it looks like a crunched Subaru Outback.

The Suzuki I really want to see on the road is the new Jimny. The concept XA Alpha is supposed to be the design inspiration of the next Jimny:

A locking differential is more for offroading/uneven terrain than it is for adverse weather conditions. I don't think there are many AWDs with locking center diffs unless they are SUVs and have the ground clearance for some offroading. The Kizashi is really a road car so the locking feature isn't as needed as the SX4 which is technically a cross-over and can handle light offroading. The Jimny and the Grand Vitara are the ones made for offroading in mind and have full range 4x4. These SUVs have very impressive offroad abilities.

I just wish I had AWD in my 6 speed Kizashi.

Locking dif makes a difference if you are trying to plow through more than 6 inches of snow

Right, but then that's when ground clearance starts becoming an issue, especially for a sedan like the Kizashi. That's why Suzuki didn't bother with a locking diff.

Well, I'd buy it. Can we just fly up to Canada and purchase one from there?
